    1. Payments

      1.1 By signing up to a service at Carbon Hosting, you will allow a subscription to be automatically setup for future payments. This is essential in Monthly services and Domain Names.

      1.2 Late fees are added to the account for not paying on time or using the subscription service. This is currently 10% admin handling charge.

    2. Dedicated Servers

      2.1 Dedicated servers are provided unmanaged, with full root access. It will be your responsibility to perform all software changes and updates.

      2.2 By signing up to a dedicated server product, you are accepting all responsibility of administration, maintaining data, file back ups, data breaches.

      2.3 Dedicated servers are a non refundable product, but can be cancelled at any time.

      2.4 Upgrades, dedicated server upgrades require a new server to be set-up and you will be required to transfer all data and services over.

      2.5 Extra IP addresses are limited to 2 per server. Allowing a maximum of 3. These must be paid annually.

    3. VPS

      3.1 Virtual Private Servers are provided unmanaged, with full root access. It will be your responsibility to perform all software changes and updates.

      3.2 VPS will only be supplied with Centos & WHM/Cpanel

      3.3 VPS are a non refundable product, but can be cancelled at any time.

      3.4 Upgrades can be carried out at anytime and you will be billed accordingly.

    4. Shared Hosting Platform

      4.1 Our shared hosting platform is provided unmanged, no root access will be granted, requests for SSH access will be denied.
      4.2 Shared hosting emails are hosted on separate mail servers, email accounts not used after 100 days could be automatically deleted.
      4.3 The shared hosting platform has it’s own fair use policy available to read using Our shared hosting platform Policy.

    5. Domain Names

      5.1 Domain names are purchased in full for the years opted for upon ordering, this is non-refundable

      5.2 By registering a domain name within the .uk Top Level Domain (a “Domain Name”), you enter into a contract of registration with Nominet UK (“We”, “Our” or “Us”) on the following terms and conditions. This is a separate contract to any arrangement you may have with any third party for the provision of internet services. By registering a domain name, you agree to the publication of your name and address as part of the public WHOIS database service. If you are a Consumer, and you do not wish your address to be published, please see our web site at http://www.nominet.org.uk for more information on the Consumer opt out. Nominet is the Registry for all internet Domain Names ending in .uk and provides a public service for the .uk namespace on behalf of the Internet community.

      5.3 You must ensure that we receive the registration or renewal fee within one month after the issue of our invoice. For the avoidance of doubt, if you use an Agent it will be your responsibility to ensure that the Agent has paid the registration or renewal fee to us within one month of the issue of our invoice. After this period you may have to pay

      5.4 The domain name grace period is the time from when a domain requires renewal and the invoice has been paid. After the grace period a fee payable to the registrar will be enforced as set out by Nominet Terms & Conditions.

    6. Cancellation of services

      6.1 To cancel a service you must log into the account and request not to renew a service, this can be done during the renewal invoice before the final day.

      6.2 Our right to cancel services due to abuse of the network and not limiting to :
      6.2.1 Engaging in illegal or unlawful activities through the Services or via the Website.
      6.2.2 Hosting pornographic, Racial or Extremist material.
      6.2.3 Publish, post, distribute or disseminate defamatory, obscene, indecent or other unlawful material or information, or any material or information which infringes any intellectual property rights (for the avoidance of doubt this includes licensed software distributed as Warez), via the Services or on the Website;

      6.2.3 Reports from the data center which include your services used for spamming, port scans of other servers or IP addresses, Illegal software used.
